Bunker WOII (WWII bunker)

Around 1935, the canal functioned as an anti-tank moat and the Belgian army built bunkers alongside it at strategic locations. These were manned by soldiers of the Kamp van Beverlo army camp. These bunkers were part of the most advanced defensive ring around Antwerp during World War II.
